Children participating in hands-on science experiments

AIM Tech & Science Life Skills Summer Camp

A unique summer camp experience where messy science, exciting engineering challenges, and hands-on experiments become the perfect sandbox for building emotional regulation and true resilience.

We'll be using science and tech to teach vital life skills. By intentionally designing activities that require trial-and-error, we create a supportive, guided environment where it is perfectly safe for children to make mistakes, learn from them, and try again.

Our Camp is Different

Combining Fun & Emotional Growth

We seamlessly combine fun & exciting, hands-on experiments with targeted emotional growth. Through messy science and engineering challenges, campers actively build persistence, flexible thinking, teamwork, and frustration tolerance. They learn exactly how to handle setbacks—both in the science lab and in life.

The Environment

With an absolute maximum of 10 kids per camp, our skilled staff provides deep, individualized attention. When an experiment "fails" or a structure collapses, we don't just move on. We pause to process the frustration, practice coping skills, brainstorm a new plan, and confidently try again.

Here’s What We’ll Be Doing

Every project is carefully chosen to disguise powerful emotional learning inside of an incredibly fun activity.

🧪Oobleck Exploration

Exploring non-Newtonian fluids to discuss flexibility in thinking.

🌋Volcano Eruptions

Focus on cause & effect and learning from "failed" eruptions.

🦠Slime Creation

Trial-and-error adjustments to build patience and persistence.

👕Tie-Dye Shirts

Emphasizing planning, creativity, and accepting unexpected outcomes.

🏗️Marshmallow Structures

Encouraging iteration, communication, and teamwork.

🥚Egg Drop Challenge

Designing systems and reinforcing resilience after failure.

💡DIY Lava Lamps

Teaching density and encouraging scientific curiosity.

✈️Paper Airplanes

Testing flight accuracy and modifying designs based on results.

🌉Bridge Building

Problem-solving structural strength with popsicle sticks.

🚀Balloon Rockets

Exploring propulsion, air pressure, and hypothesis testing.

💻Coding Games

Teaching sequencing, logic, and debugging mistakes without frustration.

🧲Magnetic Mazes

Designing custom mazes to promote forward planning and patience.

💧Water Filtration

Problem-solving using natural layers to filter and clean water.

🧱Lego Challenge

Following constraints while adapting when designs don't work.

🎯Catapult Building

Experimenting with force and refining through fun repetition.

☀️Shadow Tracing

Building patience and scientific thinking by tracking the sun over time.

🔌LED Circuits

Trial-and-error learning about connections, power, and electricity.

📦Mystery Box

Fostering flexible thinking by building solutions with random materials.

🌊Sensory Bottles

Combining calming, self-regulation sensory input with science concepts.
