From the Desk of Kat Myers, RMHCI
Welcome! I'm Kat, and I believe that your mind is your most important muscle. It's time to train it like you train your body. My core philosophy is that true well-being—and peak performance—comes from integrating the mind, body, spirit, relationships, and environment.
I specialize in working with athletes and individuals in competitive environments (ages 13+). I understand the intense pressure and the pain point of tying your self-worth directly to your performance. My goal is to help you gain control over your mind, so pressure and fear don't control you.
Healing happens in a safe, empathetic relationship. Working with me feels like having a supportive, honest, and empathetic coach for your mind. We'll focus on developing resilience, managing performance anxiety, and helping you rediscover the joy in your game.

The Client Experience: Mastering the Mental Game
Ideal Client Profile: A goal-oriented adolescent or young adult athlete who is ready to address their struggles with an open mind and understands that their mental health is just as important as their physical performance.
The "Before and After" of Performance
Common Pain Point (Before): A talented athlete is struggling to perform under pressure, constantly doubting themselves, and losing the joy they once had for their sport. Their identity is tied to their win/loss record.
Outcome (After): Clients manage anxiety with new techniques, reframe negative self-talk, and bounce back more quickly from mistakes. They learn they are more than their statistics and find their passion for the game again.
Professional Insights
Kat addresses the misconception that struggling is a sign of weakness, emphasizing that seeking help is a sign of strength. Progress is measured by tangible improvements like symptom reduction, improved performance in their sport, and healthier self-talk, leading to a renewed sense of hope and balance.
