Your scheduled session time slot is valuable. If for any reason you need to cancel, it is required you contact your provider at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to charge the session fee for a cancelation within the 24 hours of the appointment.
It is imperative that there is trust that the counseling session is a safe place to express your thoughts and feelings. Therefore, what is talked about in counseling is private unless there is a concern of safety. Caregivers will be informed of all reported concerns and safety matters. You will also be assisted in managing the situation most effectively.
When it is clinically appropriate, I highly encourage caregiver participation in treatment services. Caregiver participation can offer the necessary support for children outside the session and increase the effective communication in the parent-child relationship.
