Mariah creates a supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a non-judgmental way. She works with children, young adults, and women, taking a holistic approach that focuses on understanding what’s happening in their lives and helping them navigate challenges.
For children, Mariah helps them identify and express emotions, develop communication skills, and build coping strategies. She draws on her Master’s in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and her experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to provide support.
With young adults, Mariah uses a solution-focused approach informed by CBT and DBT to help them grow personally and emotionally. She also works with women at a local shelter, offering weekly goal coaching to support career, education, budgeting, and personal aspirations. Mariah believes any goal is achievable with meaningful steps.
Currently, Mariah is in the process of obtaining her Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) credential and continues to study CBT and DBT techniques to provide effective, evidence-based support.
Outside of work, Mariah enjoys video games, music, and reading. She often incorporates her hobbies into sessions to create engaging and personalized experiences for her clients.
