Nicole is a registered clinical social work intern. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a minor in visual arts from the University of San Diego. She is also an active member of Phi Beta Kappa. While living in San Diego, Nicole became involved with juvenile justice reform and advocacy.
Upon completing her thesis, she discovered that she wanted to pursue a helping profession with at risk youth. Nicole moved to Florida in 2022 and attended Florida Gulf Coast University. She graduated with her master’s degree in social work with a medical social work certificate in 2024.
Nicole will be joining AIM part-time to help individuals grow and sustain change through a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. Nicole utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutioned Focused techniques, and Motivational Interviewing as interventions with clients to help meet their specific needs. Currently, Nicole is pursuing clinical licensure and certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Outside of the therapy office, Nicole enjoys painting, spending time with her friends, family, and cat, Olive. She can be found at the yoga studio, gym, beach or taking Olive for a walk.
